365 Day Project - Day 280

So, I've had a couple of questions from readers about "Does she try to cover up?" when using the litter qwitter.  Yes, sort of.  She doesn't try using the water in the bowl.  You can see her here "scratching" at the back of the toilet.  Sometimes, she scratches at the toilet seat.
Fegie: Um. Do you mind?  I'm trying to concentrate in here.

365 Day Project - Day 279

Me: Fegie, this is a sign of true friendship. I was on the phone on hold with Continental Airlines and I wanted to get this book for the weekend.  The library was closing in less than 1/2 hour and there was no way I was getting off the phone in time to get to the library.  Audene stopped what she was doing to go get this book for me.  When she go there they were already flashing the lights and she braved the impending dark, in a strange library and came out with this book for me!

Fegie: It just shows how much she doesn't love you.
Me: You mean, how much she loves me.
Fegie: Do you call getting you something to read that intensifies your zombie nightmares love?
Me: You have a point.
Fegie: No, I have a tail.  There's a difference.
Me: I still think it was an act of true friendship.
Fegie: You hoomans and your . . . "friends"

365 Day Project - Day 277

Me: This is nice.
Fegie: What?
Me: The candle light.  The bokah.
Fegie: Are you calling me names?
Me: No, it's just that I was out of ideas of what picture to take today and I looked a the list of themes for this month.  This week is Romance.  So I decided to take a "romantic" shot.
Fegie: Uh, really?
Me: Don't you think candle light is romatic.
Fegie: Well, usually romance at least includes the same species . . . and I don't think those candles are all the same flavor.

365 Day Project - Day 276

Me: Aw.  Look at you.
Fegie: Yes?
Me: You look so cute.
Fegie: And?
Me: You just . . . you're so cute.
Fegie:  Don't you DARE pinch my cheeks. Not in the mood.

365 Day Project - Day 237

Another distraction while meditating . . . Fegie the Cat is stalking me!

365 Day Project - Day 227

I moved Fegie's food bowl.  I didn't think I was going to win this battle.  She kept going to the other place to eat and her bowl wasn't there.  She tried to act like it was a great inconvenience to walk ALL the way to the other side of the fridge . . .  Drama QUEEN!

365 Day Project - Day 212

Fegie: Somebody's stalking me.
Jobie: The bathtub is only safe when it comes to tornados. There are no tornados in Maryland.
Fegie: Yeah? Well, I'll see them before they see me.  See how flat I can make my ears.
Jobie: Yeah, I see that.
Fegie: Tornados? They're going to wish it was a tornado when I come out at them out of this tub!

365 Day Project - Day 205

Fegie: Does this box make my butt look big?

365 Day Project - Day 202

This is what I come home to . . . a sweet kitty showing me how good she is to scratch on her scrating pad instead of my colorful leather stools. Good Fegie the Cat.

365 Day Project - DAy 156

I couldn't find Fegie one day . . . and my apartment isn't very big. It's just three rooms rooms (including the bathroom).  And there she was . . . sleeping on the wine / tea cart.

365 Day Project - Day 140

Another pic of my new apartment.  Fegie is in her window.

365 Day Project - Day 138

A pic of the bathroom of my new apartment. Notice the turtle lamp in the floor. It's been with me a long, long time. It acts as a night light so Fegie the Cat can see to use the toilet.

365 Day Project - Day 135

Fegie's favorite place to sleep. Its a window seat.

365 Day Project - Day 129

Fegie the Cat, gives us empirical evidence for Cartesian Dualism (that our minds are distinct from our body/brains, this mind is our essence).  Here you see how her essence ("soul") stayed on the legde a few minutes longer than her physical body (ruled by her brain).  Her physical body craved the catnip on her mat while her essence (mind, soul one could argue) still wanted to sit in the window and observe the street.  If you look closely, you can see through her essesnce (to the shutter on the other side of her), which, of course, you couldn't do if it was her physical body jumping from the ledge. She is currently taking an online class at the University of Oxford, "Philosophy of Mind."  I did ask her how to explain how she was able to seperate her essesnce/mind/soul from her body but she was too busy rolling in the catnip to explain.
